This handsome fellow is a Red Backed Kingfisher and he is part of the Archibird Mural Project organised by Mudgee Arts Precinct. The project is supported by Create NSW’s Audience Development Fund, a devolved funding program administered by Museums and Galleries of NSW on behalf of the NSW Government. There are a number of other murals yet to be completed by other local artists and community groups and will be erected at our local Putta Bucca wetlands or the sculpture garden by the Mudgee Arts Precinct Cultural Centre.
